Friday is the perfect vacation rental: a fully furnished holiday house for up to 8 people. We’ve renovated this beautiful 17th century town house with a lot of care. You’ll experience all the modern comfort while still feeling its authentic charm. The house is bright, comfortable and ideal for your family, friends or colleagues.

The ground floor has a bright dining room with fully equipped open kitchen, it also gives access to a small courtyard and a basement with a washing machine at your disposal.
Between the ground and the first floor there is a cosy corner with a 4K TV and free Netflix available. Perfect for relaxing after spending a day in the city.
The first floor consists of a bedroom, a bathroom and a private toilet. In this spacious bedroom you'll find a king-size double bed (180x200cm) and two more single beds (90x200cm), perfect for travelling with kids. The bathroom has a bathtub and rain shower.
The second floor of our guesthouse has a bedroom with a queen-size double bed (160x200cm), a small bathroom with a rain shower and a private toilet.
We've transformed the attic in a super cosy bedroom where you'll find a queen-size double bed (160x200cm) and the most amazing view of Gent's famous 3 towers and its 'Gravensteen' castle.
The neighborhood
Our vacation rental is located in ‘Het Prinsenhof’, a medieval gem in the historic city centre of Ghent. ‘Het Prinsenhof’ or Prince’s Court was a grand castle, birthplace of Emperor Charles V. The neighbourhood is super charming and above all quiet and calm. The house is a 5 minute walk from the famous ‘Gravensteen’ castle and ‘De Graslei’. There are plenty of nice coffee bars, restaurants and supermarkets within walking distance.

Friday Goes Green
Friday received the ‘Green Key’ sustainability label: this quality label provides a framework for sustainable entrepreneurship, and reflects the managers’ commitment to meet an ambitious set of socio-environmental criteria.
Friday uses green power, and energy- efficient LED lights have been installed, as well as a "turn-off-all-lights" switch. Guests are encouraged to drink tap water, and to reduce and sort their waste. In the handy house manual you can find all kinds of tips for a sustainable and ecological stay in Ghent. There is a nice wicker basket available for grocery shopping. We also aim to support other local entrepreneurs. We welcome visitors with flowers of Bluet, distributor of fair flowers, and get the wine at ONA, a local wine bar.
